Tuesday & Wednesday!

Evening folks :)

Tuesday morning we woke up and went to Cady Cheese because we needed more swiss cheese. If you ask Joe, swiss cheese is pretty much a essential thing to have in our house. So after that, we went home through Spring Valley and stopped at the Red Barn for lunch. It was quite yummy :) Then we came home and started packing stuff up for our little camping trip! We decided that we could take Lucky, but not the little puppies. We weren't sure if there'd be many people camping on the island and didn't want to have to control 3 crazy puppies. So we dropped Max & Kylee off at my parents :) We hung out there for a little while. I went swimming in their pool. Seeing as how it was 90 degrees it was kind of hard to pass up, lol. Anyways, after we were done there we launched the boat at Ferry's and headed for a little cruise. Joe showed me some new islands just north of the Stillwater  bridge, and they looked really nice and quiet so we decided to camp there instead :) We got out of the boat and started getting stuff set up when  a boat drove by and caused some waves. Joe had Lucky on her leash and Lucky just freaked and starting attacking the waves! It was the funniest thing I have ever seen! Here this whole time we've had her I thought she hated water! Once she got used to it, we played fetch in the water for over an hour. We almost had to tie her up to keep her out of the water once it started getting dark, cuz we knew she'd never dry off completely before bed. We hung out by the fire until about 1:o0 then I think we went to bed. It was very nice and relaxing being all by ourselves. We had a lot of nice talks :) It's not very often me and Joe get to sit down and talk about things. We both enjoyed ourselves! In the morning we packed it up, picked up the puppies and came home to a warm shower & season of The OC! Later we went over to Joe's moms for dinner.. Carbone's.. yummmm! Now we're gona lay in bed some more. We may sound really, really lazy.. but I swear I am LOVING my vacation! :) :) :)

Day 2!

Yesterday morning we woke up and I didn't feel good at all and decided we weren't ready to get up yet, so we laid in bed for another couples hours watching The OC :) then we got up and Joe asked me what I wanted for breakfast, and I said.. PERKINS! So we went to Perkins and it was just delicious :) After breakfast (and pie) we headed out to Woodbury to go to Best Buy. I had $65 to spend there, and we needed the 4th season of OC so that seemed like a good place to go! It didn't so much seem like a good place to go when we walked out with $500 worth of Best Buy stuff. :/ We bought a new TV for our bedroom! There's not really a way to rearrange our room so that I don't have to lay on my side to see the TV. I have a really bad shoulder, so I never want to watch TV in bed.. but Joe always does. So he said we could buy a new TV! It's nice having a little flat screen right across from our bed :) That's pretty much where we spent the rest of the day too, lol. I started getting restless around 7:30 though, so we went in to Hudson to get some ice cream and shop at Walmart for a little bit. I had to buy batteries for the kick-ass cooler I got my sweet husband :) We spent the whole day being pretty lazy because I felt like shit, but it was still lovely. Thursday is the day we're going out for our special anniversary dinner. (something about the place he really wanted to take me not being open on Monday.) so I'll be looking forward to that!! Today I think we're going to go to Cady Cheese with my parents :)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

Today was me and Joe's 1 year anniversary. It's crazy to think how fast this first year has flown by. It was nothing short of amazing though. Joe is my best friend, and I really can't imagine my life without him. He has made the last 5 years of my life incredible. I love you so much honey!

DAY ONE :) :)

Not going to lie.. it feels amazing to know that I don't have to go to work for 7 more days! Yesterday I had to work until 2:o0, then I went home and me and Joe went to Walmart so he could buy some ammo for his pellet guns, so he can "shoot those little gopher bastards finally". His words, not mine! Then we ate at the Chinese place in NR (Joe's favorite, I think it's disgusting, lol) We got home and laid on the couch watching The OC for a couple hours, then decided that we had wayyy too much cardboard waiting to be burned. So we had ourselves a little fire :) Then came back in, watched some more OC, and went to bed :) It was a very relaxing evening.

I woke up this morning around 9:o0 and did some stuff around the house. I knew Joe wouldn't be up for like 2 more hours, so I did some cleaning & laundry. Finally Joe woke up and we took a shower and got ready to go to the STATE FAIR! yay, I've been waiting so long!!!!! We were only there for like 2 hours, but I swear it felt like 20 lol. We were kind of on a budget, but we still got to get everything we wanted too! There were cheese curds, root beer, giant pickles, mini donuts, pork chops, bacon.. probably some more too, but I'm still too full to think about food! Anyways, we're home now and getting ready to relax on the couch again :) Tomorrow is our actual anniversary and I still don't think we've actually decided what we're going to do! I'll let you guys know tomorrow though :)

We always cheat & park at Joe's dads work, which is about a mile away from the fairground. To get there we have to cross a railroad track. The 5 years that we've gone, we've NEVER come across a train. Well, this time we did :)

I am so excited for you to start kindergarten at your new school! You're going to make so many new friends and have lots of fun! :) Thank you for letting me spend your last day at Suzy's with you. And thank you for inviting me to your special dinner at Olive Garden. I'm going to miss you so much!

than to have 9 days off of work. 9 DAYS.. sounds heavenly, don't it? :)
