It's funny how much of a difference ice cubes can make in a glass of water! It make it so much more... drinkable? :)

A little privacy.. PLEASE?!
As you all know, I work at a bank. And one of my biggest pet peeves about customers here is when.. for example.. I'm helping a drive-thru customer and I have my closed sign up, but some person walks in the lobby thinking they're all high & mighty and drapes their skanky self all over my counter space!!!!!! It annoys the heck out of me!! Especially when I'm counting money back to myself. If it was your transaction that I was doing, would you want someone else watching me do it. NO! So back the heck away from my space until I tell you I'm ready to help you!!!! It's just plain rude. and annoying. and unfortunately it happens about 118 times a day. I really wish we could get those rope things that say "PLEASE WAIT HERE UNTIL NEXT AVAILABLE TELLER" or something like that. But of course, we probably never will. And so I will continue to be annoyed by stupid people.

Damn exercise to heck.
So I'm not used to having a big dog yet. I'm used to coming home from work, letting my little 10 pound puppies outside and playing with them for 10 minutes.
Wellll Lucky requires a little more attention than that. Which usually I wouldn't have a problem with, except that I think I'm starting to get migraines. Everyday I come home from work with my head just pounding, so the last thing I want to do is be stuck outside playing tug-a-war with Lucky. Thankfully I have a husband for that :) But on account of Joe having to work late tonight, I thought I should go out and play with Lucky. (I thought this after she dropped her teddy bear in my lap for the third time tonight..)
So don't ask me why I didn't lock the other puppies up, because, well.. I just didn't think of it. So me and Lucky start on our run around the block. All of a sudden I hear a sad little yelp and I turn around and there's Max running down the street after us!! (the sad little yelp was Max being shocked by the invisible fence) I decided that Max would do fine on a run with us, so I just let him tag along. We made it alll the way down to the end of our block and were on our way back when Max had to notice the 2 big chocolate labs in a yard. Once again I hear a sad little yelp as he goes running off to play with the big dogs. (Sadly, those neighbors had just put an invisible fence in as well) Of course Max wouldn't come back when I called him.. so I carefully drag Lucky down to the yard with me. I say carefully because I'm still not entirely sure how she acts around big dogs. Usually she's fine, but trust this to be the one time she decides to defend herself.
What do you think she does? OH, she tries to defends herself, and me. So as I'm dragging Lucky away from these dogs, Max is just having the time of his life running around a new yard with new dogs. It takes me probably 10 minutes to get Lucky all the way home (she kept wanting to go back to Max, who I left there) I storm up to our house and toss Lucky into the house. Of course I don't mean literally toss.. Lucky is a 60 pound dog you know. Then I have myself another little run all the way back down to the neighbors to get Max.
So, the neighbors have this big trailer/camper thingy parked in their driveway and as I'm trying to be friendly to the labs there I hear people talking in the trailer/camper thingy. OF COURSE there would be people in there to witness my humiliating attempt to capture my weiner. (dog, that is)
All said and done Max got shocked 2 more times (coming out of the neighbors yard and then back into our yard) And let me tell you, I did not make it quick and painless for him! I was so mad! Usually Max is a good listener. Unfortunately he chose this time not to be.
Needless to say, I won't be taking Lucky on runs anytime soon.
Have fun playing with Lucky by yourself for the rest of your life Joe. (or as soon as I get over this whole ordeal)

TGIF.
THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY!!! :)I'm very excited for my weekend. Tonight will be spent cleaning the house, then drinking & grilling w/ the boys, and then tomorrow morning we go up north! YAY! :)
Our first stop will of course be the rock that we carved our names in, then straight into Two Harbors. I know we'll for sure hit up Gooseberry & Splitrock, but I'm not sure what else we'll do tomorrow. Then Sunday we get on the boat at like 7:oo I think, and we'll fish for 8 hours. I hope we catch some!! Then back home Sunday night. It'll be a short little vacation.. but also a much needed one!
Today after work me, Molly and Mya went to the park :) Because I love to show Mya off (and she's not even my baby) I'll post some pictures, lol.

Nothing a bottle.. er.. glass of wine can't fix.
I may not love my job all the time (ever?) but I sure do love my girls :)
Tonight .sucked. I really don't even know why, I just got verrry crabby. Hence me running to the liquor store right after work and buying two bottles of wine. I can feel my night getting better all ready.
So here I sit, waiting for puppies to finish eating so that I can curl up with them on the couch, with my glass of wine and the 1st season of Gossip Girl.
Goodnight all :)
My Life Thus Far..
Well howdy doody!
Let's cut to the chase.. me + blogs do not = happily ever after. But I'll try harder from now on.
Where the heck should I start........
I've been married for 9 months this coming Sunday. Holy crap, it seems weird that it's been that long already. Me and my hubby just bought a house a little over a month ago too. We now live in Hammond and I love it :) It's a 4 bedroom house on just about 2 acres.. which is just enough room to make my puppies giddy with excitment every time they race outside! As soon as I get Jessie to show me how to add pictures, then I'll post some :) I really do love our house though. It isn't huge, but it's big enough for us and maybe a couple kids when it's time :) which, if we're being honest, I think the time is here lol.
Alright let's see.. Marriage. Check. House. Check. Family?
My family consists of myself and wonderful husband, Joe. Also our babies: Max, Kylee, and Lucky. Max is a purebred Mini Dachshund, Kylee is a Chihuhaha/Dachshund Mix, and Lucky is a Staffordshire Terrier. I promise I'll put pictures of them up on here too :) We used to only have Max & Kylee until about 2 weeks ago when Joe saved Lucky from being put down. At first I said NO WAY to getting another dog, but now that we've had her for awhile, I love her. It's still very annoying to have so many dogs something. Mostly when we're sleeping (we need to get a king size bed) and this coming weekend we're going up North and usually my mom watches Max & Kylee for us, but I'd hate to have her watch all 3 dogs now because she has 2 dogs herself! So luckily this time she's just going to come stay at our house for a night. It's probably a treat for her to have a night to herself anyways :)
I'm very excited to go up north this weekend. It's going to be a much needed weekend away! Every year we go up to Two Harbors, MN and spend a couple days. It's going to be cool going up there in June this year because usually we go in September and it sure is pretty when all the leaves are changing, but it'll be nice to be up there in the beginning of Summer this time too.
Okay well it's almost time for my lunch break. Hope this satisfies you're hunger for blogging for a little while at least :)
